Crown lanes is having a pizza and beer league. Starting Thursday Jan 5th at 6:30. It is a doubles league. Each team gets a pitcher of beer, a pizza and 4 games of bowling. The price is $15 per bowler. Cheap fun!

Me and my girl are signed up already. Not sure how many, if any bowlers are here but if nothing else it would be a great reason to drink and have some fun.

Crown lanes is on Federal south of Evans a couple of blocks.

To clear up some confussion. This is a 12 week long league. That being said it is a handicaped league. Not park in a blue square handicapped but based on your skill or lack there of. This means if you have a average of 125, you have just a good of chance to win as someone with a 200 average. So to win you just need to be consistent with your average.
Besides the more you drink the better you bowl!

How exact it 6:30? That'd be right on the edge for me getting down there by then. Is practice before 6:30?

Practice starts at 6:30 and is usually to minutes long.

Not enough people signed up to have the league but Crown lanes is going to run this a Thursday special anyway. so now you can show up when it works for you and enjoy the deal.

I'll let you know Mike, hopefully my entry wasn't the deciding factor as to whether or not the League was a go. I just would be hard pressed to get there in time, and would not like it if I was holding everyone up week after week.

I wouldn't mind still being able to show up and bowl though. I'll let you know. I may come down tonight.
