'88 FZR 400
this 400 was originally build by Speedworks. It was the 2009 WERA 400 superbike winner. I have owned the bike for a year now but need to reduce my 400 collection. The pedigree reads like this.
Decked and milled head with Titanium valves. The valve were adjusted prior to Dyno runs and rechecked after with no variation
Cleaned and rebuilt 32mm FCR carbs with FC main air jet adjustments for on the fly air to fuel changes based on the LED gauge located lower left on the dash.
Dash also has Tach, gear indicator, temperature gauge and volt meter
PowerPak CDI
Dyna coils
Factory ignition advance plate
Factory shift arm and spring
Aluminum tank with ZX7 cover
PM wheels with four sprockets (44-41)
ZX7 front forks with 6 piston calipers
ZX7 radiator
Total loss ignition
New Shori Battery
comes with spare
ZX7 calipers
clipons
bars for clipons on the bike
new pistons and two sets of seals for 6 piston calipers on bike
brake lever
stack adapters for installing air pods onto carbs

all this for the low low price of $3700
really I would like to get $3700 for the bike. It is ready to go. Could use new body work eventually but the stuff on it works and firmly attached to the bike. its just a little heavy and a little thick in some areas.
I have $4500 into it not to mention all the money of prior owners.
