Did the races get shortened at all or just the practices?

Sunday is unchanged, it can be found at the link above.

The races are still full length - 7 laps for sprints, 14 for ROR, 6 for Ninjettes.

Yes...it called the 4 hour team endurance race. 8) 8) Kidding....lol The normal endurance races are not running this weekend. Only the 4 hour team/solo endurance race. Sign up and run the solo event....lots of track time for your money....WAY better value than a normal endurance day.

Yup! Instead of paying $60 for a 30 minute endurance race this weekend, you pay $75 for a 4 hour endurance race this weekend. Can't beat that!

Hopefully people can keep it upright for the races before the 4hr this time, so that it doesn't get shortened and run until it's too dark to see the track...

When the 4 hour starts, it will end in 4 hours. The clock never stops.

I believe he's referring to the numerous crashes last year PRIOR to the endurance race. Numerous red flags in other races lead to a big delay in getting the 4hour STARTED last year and they had to shorten it to 3 hours before it even started.

Yes, but Ralph was referring to the races PRIOR to the 4 hour. Last year there was a ton of delays that resulted in the 4 hour getting started late, hence it was only a 3 hour.

We took this into account that is why we have a condensed practice schedule. With the revised practice schedule racers lose 5 minutes of practice, but we pick up a full hour to accommodate the 4 hour.

As always Ray will keep an eye on things an adjust accordingly.

Last year I don't think even that would have mattered, it was a painful day for some folks. In any event I get the scheduling concessions, it was just a general shout out to folks to ride smart. :) My fellow EMT's much prefer a boring day to an adventurous one.
