Mr. Wilson has set up yet another great MRA event for us to promote the club. Please join us this Saturday from 5:30-9 at Performance Cycle to talk up the club, A and I will set up the booth around 4:30. Or just stop by and check out the event--let the shop know you're with the MRA!

Thanks to all the members who've helped work MRA booths to date, we need to keep up good the work promoting our club. :D

Wyeth, is this at the South Broadway location or at the Brighton Blvd shop? Are there opportunities to come help out and work off novice hours? Our Denver house is close to the Broadway store so I could bring my bike by too if that was appropriate. Let me know.

Yes it IS a novice hour opportunity, at the Broadway shop just north of Evans. It would be a big help if you'd bring your bike and work this event, and you'll take care of your novice hours.

Can you meet us at 4:30? My # is 720-299-1390

Yes, I think I could be there by 4:30. Let me check with family and make sure and I'll get back to you.

My bike is a typical MRA ride....a bit thrashed looks-wise, but fully functional and very clean. That is still an appropriate bike to display, yes? Will you and Arron have your bikes there as well?

Performance Cycle only has one location and that is on Broadway.

True. For some reason I thought they had a shop on Brighton a few blocks from Faster as well.

So this event is part of their big open house/hooters event, so what is the best place to park (with a trailer) given the potential crowds?

Jim is planning to bring his bike, and another guy is going to bring his street bike taped up in Superstreet trim as a Superstreet example. If you bring yours down that would be perfect. We'll bring table, canopies and the MRA display and handouts.

There's a parking lot across the street that may have room, otherwise I'd say up the street and we can bring your bike down to the display.

Ok, worst case i'll just drop my bike off, go back home to park a couple miles away and then just bike down. that might be easiest.

Bump, this event starts at 5:30 tonight, even if you're not coming to work the booth please pop by and let the shop know you're an MRA member. There'll be tons of dirt, drag, road, and other kinds of racer displays, plus a bike show with prize $, giveaways, BBQ, it's going to be fun!

Thanks for setting this up Jim! Your non-stop work finding events where we can host the MRA booth is really paying off. We meet new people at every event who haven't heard of the MRA--guys and gals who want to race, spectate, cornerwork. It's a huge amount of work and we thank you for doing it! :D

Last night we had a ton of MRA members show up, hang out, mingle, and work the booth. It was a large event and a good one for our club.

BTW, 3 of our current SuperStreet racers popped by the booth last night. All 3 of them talked about their plans to pull race licenses and go racing full time! We also had several dozen street riders in the booth over the course of the night, interested to learn how they could race their street bikes and try road racing. Thank you Mike, Israel and Greg for spending so much time talking to these guys/gals!
