I'm looking for a scotts damper for a 04 R6. The mounting kit is already installed, I just need the unit. thanks!

The scotts is universal from what I understand. Thats why they sell the brackets seperate, you can sway the damper between different bikes if they all have the correct mounts installed. So you should be able to search for a scotts damper from any bike. Hopefully that helps you find one more quickly.
