FS: Ducati 998 - SOLD!

I have (sadly) for sale my Ducati 998. Some of you may have seen this bike in SuperStreet at PPIR a couple weeks ago. The bike is in pristine condition, and has been professionally maintained. It is formerly owned by Steve Madison of Mad-Moto. I'm selling because, well, got the bug, and have to find a race bike. I'd consider an R6 in trade. A few details:

20k miles.
Never down.
18k maint/valve job ($2k+) done (new chain, sprockets, fork seals, basically the works)
Brand spankin new clutch, basket, springs ($500)
Arrow slip ons
CRG roll-a-click levers
Custom suede seats
Wheels powdercoated black
Carbon fiber bits here and there

As I said, the bike is pristine, a collector, and runs like a top. I'm trying to keep it in the family so maybe when I win the lotto I can buy it back. PRICE NOW $6000 Pretty firm on that. If it's a garage queen, it'll only go up in value, but I gotta race. Someone buy it please, I'd rather not sell it to some squid on craigslist with a mohawk helmet, but I'll do what I gotta do.

If you build it... it will race :) set that shiney stock bodywork aside and get some skinz for that bike and ride the bejesus out of it!! Too many yamahammers out there already :D Beautiful bike tho for sure!

Believe me, I would love to, but don't have the $$$ for all of that and well. It's just too nice of a bike as she sits and I want to be riding something I'm not thinking 'don't f'n dump it' every time I am braking hard or getting back on the throttle at full lean.

PRICE DROPPED TO $6000. Buy this bike, thats a steal, I just need to get it gone by next weekend so I can rip a race bike around.
