I know they're turd boxes but I like them and want one to rock on the street this summer. If you know of anybody looking to get rid of one please let me know.

They weren't turd boxes and actually finished 4th in the 1998 AMA superbike championship. I raced one to numerous AMA, MRA and a couple of CRA championships, so I personally beg to differ. There's a fairly strong cult following to these bikes these days as well. Good luck finding one with a bargain basement price.
Problem is that Suzuki decided to quit making parts for them and erase them from peoples memory. I hold out that they could have built it, improved upon it and improved market share but to each their own.

I think that bike he speaks of can be found at browns welding with a blown motor. Gio add motor and rip it. Craig doesn't want that thing sitting around his shop anymore

That there bike at Craigs shop was my original TL1000S and yes that's it. Lord only knows what became of my various R's through the years though they were all sold to racers and of course I still have the Japanese Ducati
