View Full Version : Mini Moto first race done and 250 class at IMI 5 June

The first race went off at Bandimere Kart track and it was a blast despite deploreable weather (36 degrees still at 11:00 AM and a VERY wet track). We race whether it's rain or shine and usually have one bad weather race a year.

Jason "Hammer" M. dominated F1 with some great riding, picking up where he left off last year on the mighty mini Honda NSF100.

"Hammer" and others put on a show in F2/3 with some spirited and fast riding,despite conditions.

In F4/5, affectionately known as "mini Superbike", Hammer, Kevin C., and Ara M. duked it out at speeds approaching 60mph in the slippery conditions. Hammer and Kevin C. split moto wins with others standing by to collect the inevitable fallout, as the front pack pushed each other to the limits and beyond.

Thanks to everyone (especially the new guys) who braved the horrible conditions to come out and partake in the racing and spectating. Hope to see those that had preparation mishaps at IMI on June 5 where the the 250 class will be tearing it up also. Racing any type of motorcycle...you gotta love it!

Aftter 5 laydowns on The kx 65 she is still in great running order , and so am I .... I love minis... I love playing in the rain. Conditions s were better was It was wet. The track started to dry and the tires were still cold. Made for some silly slick riding .... 8)

I hear ya Hammer. After endoing over a downed riders bike, then being able to get back in the saddle to finish the race....priceless! Something must be wrong with me. I have had an absolute blast at every rain day we have had. The fun stops though if my fingers don't move well from cold.

Gonna have your Ninja 250 ready to rock again by IMI on 5 June? I am really looking forward to the 250s on IMI. They are gonna be a blast to watch on that track!

250 riders come on out and get some at IMI!

The guys had a blast! They have been talking about how much fun they had ever since we left the track. They both hope to have more races in the rain.

We will see you guys at IMI. The 250 class should be fun!

Glad to have you out there Jim. Great Pics !

The wet track and 36 degrees made for some seriously unpredictable racing for everyone.

June 5th @ IMI is the 250cc/125cc race.
