View Full Version : Corner Worker Training - April 9 Who's coming??

We will be having a mandatory corner worker training in conjunction with the race school this year. If you plan to corner work this year you MUST attend. Please be there at 7:30.

We will have a classroom session in the morning with hands on training after wards.

This year we have changed up the race school a bit. The MRA will be attending a HPR lapping day and not exclusively renting the track. What does that mean for you? MRA corner crew will not be working BOTH days. As of right now we only have enough students for 1 day!

If the weather is bad please check back on the forum for change of plans details!!

Couple things that you will need to know:


- WHITE clothing MUST be warn - If you don't have white pants please pick some up. Perfect type of pants are painters pants. MRA long sleeve shirts will be provided this year. NO shorts!!
- Come prepared to fill out all paper work if you have not done so yet. Once your paper work is filled out and turned in you will be issued a pass to get in the gates on race day. MUST have one to get through the gate

Ray-Ray I want to corner work some this year. I've done it in the past and been through the training once before. I can't make it to the 9th-10th though.

I'm confused (something that shouldn't surprise you). Is the new rider's school on Saturday the 9th or Sunday the 10th? I can not be there the 9th but can the 10th.

Bob, We are only holding the school on Saturday. We don't have enough students for Sunday.

by the way, since I've never been to this track, how do we get in on saturday morning? Do we just say "cornerworker training", and all following days we will be showing our laminated card?
