I am putting out a feeler for parting out my 2006 SV650. I am really only interested in this option if I can sell the motor first so that I am not holding onto my bike with a missing gas tank and subframe (for example). The motor is the biggest cost item on the bike.
Details on the Motor – 83 hp, 2200 miles on the stock motor, 900 miles approx. on the rebuild. Rebuild includes 2mm JE Pistons, bored out throttle bodies, cam swap, barnett racing clutch kit. Motor was built by Matt Spencer with Salt Lake Motorsports and was dynoed at their shop. I am including the throttle bodies in the sale of the motor. The motor is in great shape. I changed the oil after each race weekend and used synthetic – $2000
The motor is in the bike right now so any pictures will be of the motor in the bike. If I get serious interest in the motor I will drop it out which will only take a day to do. Email me with questions. dalemurphy48@yahoo.com
