So I bought a 2008 YZ 450F a few months ago. It seemed like a really
good deal :D
On my first ride on the bike at Rampart it threw me down hard.
I was having a real hard time getting it to change directions when I wanted it to. It changed direction when "IT" wanted. The damn thing had a mind of it's own. It felt like it just bounced off of every little rock. It was crazy if I looked left to go left, the bike would have a different idea.
I twisted all the clickers, but my next couple of rides didn't go so well either.
Enter "RockStar DAVE ROSE" at STM suspension in FT. Collins.
Many of you already know him.
He went through the front end and said he found some weird stuff.
He changed it so I have lighter springs, and custom valving.
Oh and a motorcycle that I NOW love.
I can't thank Dave enough.
With out his help and wisdom, I would have sold the bike.
He is a suspensions "solutions" expert.
