President: Tony Baker-
Thank you John Burr for arranging room at Blake St Tavern.
Things were doing differently next year:
ninja 250 spec class, Formula 40 class.
New additional class Thunderbike.
It wasnt approved last season because it was proposed to do away with STGTU.
Its a new middleweight twins class but will allow older twins such as Aprilia, TL1000R, etc.
Another big change is consolidating Race of Rockies.
Everyone runs one race and does one qualifying and is eligible for top 10 plate and purse money.
For purposes of contingency you will be scored in ROR GTO and GTU.
Should allow more sign ups & increase payout.
Should make for more exciting racing.
Glen asked if it was possible that a GTU rider could win #1 plate and response is yes.
Insurance
Shopping for insurance and Wells wants to increase use to $50k for a season.
We are shopping around.
We are the AMAs oldest sanctioned club in the county but dont be surprised if we dont stick elsewhere.
