That guy was trying to sell it on the triumph forum a while back. He's a real douche bag. I think they ended up kicking him off and deleting all of his posts.
He bought the bike in a charity auction. I think he got it for around $50k?

Given what AMA bikes go for I would guess this is truly worth no more than 20k, but there is one born every minute.
