I'm new to the track, and am looking for new boots that I can ride ride on the track, use for daily commuting and the occasional enduro ride. Any thoughts if this is even possible? I'm getting close to having more pairs of shoes than my wife...

Thanks! --Joe

I don't own these these boots but the new-ish Sidi Cobra boots seem very compelling for track / daily wear. At $250 they aren't overly expensive but have some technology from the more expensive boots. No idea how the would suit enduro riding.

The Sidi recommendation comes from me having a pair. I was impressed at how well my old old Sidi Vertebra 2's held up when my bike landed on my lower legs after a high side and pushed me down the track for 200-250 feet. I had a sprained ankle but the boots did their job and bore the brunt of the "unplanned forced asphalt surfing".

Good luck!
