Talent YOU have it or you don't.
I have been racing longer then most of today's racers have been alive..
Way back in 1975, I was at Summit Point, WV, racing a TA125 Yamaha
I was one of the top rated expert riders in the WERA 125GP class.
One sunny Sunday afternoon I remember some little snot-nosed kid that was almost to small to hold up the bike was gridded last row with his dad to help him start the bike.(back then we used dead engine starts of the run and bump style) As memory servers me, in 12 laps this kid lapped the entire field, to win.
To end this story the Kids name was Freddie Spencer.
You can learn only so much, from that day on Freddie learned much more about road racing motorcycles. But he had the born in Talent to go on to be World Champ..
