08 EX250 setup as a racer for sale. Bike is located in Kansas City and has salvage MO title. This is the same bike that we won our 2010 Mini endurance championship on.

Shock, forks and engine are all fresh...bike is ready to go racing.

Here are the parts on the bike:
- Hotbodies (tail is rough the rest is decent dent in tank)
- Area P exhaust system w/ factory pro stage 3 jet kit and uni pod filters
- Modified gas cap so you can use dump can
- Vesrah pads, SS lines up front and Pazzo brake lever
- Daytona temp gauge
- High pressure radiator cap
- Cordona PQ8 quick shifter (works very well)
- Shogun frame sliders (rash on one puck)
- Woodcraft clipons, rearsets and spools
- Elka shock (freshly rebuilt)
- Racetech emulators in forks with 20wt oil and .90 springs (2 hours on them)
- 003 tires good enough for trackdays
- Fresh engine with only 5 race hours on it and one trackday.
- fresh oil change...ready to go.

The bike is super fun to ride. Bike was crashed once in april and we have been racing it since. The tank has a little dent and the bodywork is a bit rough. The exhaust can is dented and the gauge cluster was modified to cut off the fuel level so it would turn better.

I hate to be the one to tell you this.... Your bike does not conform to our rules for the new ninja 250 spec class. Not sure if you have it posted on wera or not but that might be a better place to sell it vs our forum. Sure sounds like a sweet 250. GLWS!

Thanks for letting me know. I do have a stock air box for it. What other rules does it violate? I've built 8 of these now and run them on the dyno 42 times so I'm sure I could make it conform and still perform well. I know wera requires oem air boxes too.

I've raced them in a whole bunch of configs from stock to modified more than this bike even. They get quite a bit more fun with some simple mods.

I looked through the 2010 rulebook and I couldn't find the 250 class rules. Perhaps I missed it. Any help finding the prep rules for the ninja 250 would be helpful.

These bikes are super fun to ride and this one is both fast and great handling. Fast enough to haul my 200 lb butt around the track and keep up with the fast 100 lb 12 year olds racing with cmra anyway :)

This is a new class. Final rules will be out soon. What I can tell you is these bikes need to be pretty much stock. Here is a short list of what can be changed

Body work
Pipe
Clipons
Rear sets
Brake lines.

Keep checking the forum. Final rules will be posted soon.

Thanks

Ok, I have an oem shock and the oem fork parts. I can easily put the air box back on and rejet so it runs right. I'll take off the quick shifter and I can sell the bike for less money.

If anyone is interested, shoot me an email at d2motorcycles@yahoo.com and I'll do all the work required to make the bike legal to race with MRA. It will be less than the current price for sure.

quick shifter and shock are definitely "out" for our club.

Hey Dean, I am in and out of meetings all day so I won't be able to call till later. I just resent the email though and it appears I had the address correct. Let me know what comes of it.

Ok - I haven't seen it yet but my e-mail delivery timing isn't very good. Call whenever you are free. I have my phone with me most of the time.

Thanks

The tail is being painted so it will look almost as good as it runs now.

I will convert this bike to legal within the framework of the MRA rules and I can sell it for $3000

From what I understand so far I would put the stock airbox, shock and convert the forks to OEM specs and I would remove the quick shifter. I'll rejet the bike to run well. The rest I think is within the rules. I'll know for sure when the 2011 rule book comes out.

We are coming to Colorado in March for a ski trip so I could bring the bike along...or meet 1/2 way if you need it sooner.

You can reach me at d2motorcycles@yahoo.com or (816) 308-3534 if interested
