So any way 2007 and older had the weaker head design, one of the common issues was the valves receding into the head, the bikes I saw this on
were 90s units I can't say if the 2k parts are better.for sure the new system should be way better. with all the other upgrades to the newer bikes how much could the net savings be with older ones?

All the early 90s Kwakis had valve issues if I remember, I replaced a lot of valves back then. Seems to me that most of the problems was in the valve itself, late 90s were way better and all of the old part numbers will supersede to the newer better valves. So you may need to put in the newer valves but it will still be cheaper than a new one.
