For the 2nd year in the row, the MRA will have an exhibit at the Rocky Mountain Rod & Custom Car Show. This will take place on Friday Nov 26th through Sunday Nov 28th at the Colorado Convention Center in downtown Denver.

We are requesting volunteers, both experts and novices, to man the booth these 3 days. This will involve interaction with show attendees which includes speaking about the MRA, offering our 2 for 1 and Super Street flyer's to potential new racers and spectators, and adding them to our mailing list with our Stay in Touch forms.

We have open time slots that need to be filled with 6 hours shifts on Friday and Saturday and 5 hour shifts on Sunday. Novices, this will count towards your novice hours for 2011. We plan to pair up novices with experts when possible.

Shifts available to work at this event:
Friday Nov 26th
9am-3pm Jeff Brown, Peter Emsley, Chris Koster Full
3pm-9pm Jim Brewer, Samantha Coleman, Kevin Mayer Full

Saturday Nov 27th
9am-3pm Casey Dragos, Marty Spencer, Dave McKenna Full
3pm-9pm Jeff Brown, Kevin Finnegan

Sunday Nov 28th
9am-2pm Scott Rybarik, Joe Logablo
2pm-6pm Aaron Fisk, Wyeth Jackson * (will need to stay after 6pm to help with tear down and move out)

Please respond or PM me if you would like to volunteer. I will need an email address and phone number for all volunteers.

Hey Jim as I said in my PM, AF and I can work the closing Sunday 2-6 shift, and help break down and move bikes out post show.

If needed we'll work other days too, but I'll let novices/others post up if they want to participate in this fun event. :)

As a little enticement - last year they had a post-show party on Sunday evening with free food and beer. Mind you it wasn't catered by Ruth's Chris, but it was kinda fun.

James - just a thought - should we all have some type of "official" shirts or something? I can wear either my Dunlop shirt or my previous rider rep shirt.

I'm thinking it might be nice for us to be identifiable as MRA reps as opposed to show attendees.

James, That is exactly what I would like to happen. At the Auto Show in April, I requested that board members wear their MRA board shirt and everyone else where some type of crew shirt, MRA Tshirt or other motorcycle releated shirt. I am requesting the same for this event.

David, let me see where we stand with wristbands to get in. We are only getting a set number and I think we are already over that.

I'm just glad to know he was talking about his BIKE. It is the "rod" and custom show after all... and I wouldn't put ANYTHING past Brewer. I've known him waaaaaaaayy too long.

Seems a lot of Italian machines garner love & hate at the same time.
BTW, just for the show, I put some senseless bling http://users.frii.com/jjb/emote/bling.gif on the Duc. If you go, see if you can find it.

Two points for Mr. Baker & his acute perception. Just don't touch my junk.

You're never going to let Ben off for that one, are you? (I hope you don't!)
