Ok Guys and Gals, here it is.
Asterix between rounds indicate weekends off between each race.
I've moved the school to mid April instead of early April - hoping for warmer weather. We may consider doing a one day school this year since we lost so much $ on it last year - still needs discussion at the Board level.
We got bumped off the First weekend in May at HPR by SCCA as it's part of the "SCR Traditional Date Grandfather Clause" - and so we're back to our normal second weekend, which only gives us one weekend off between Round 1 & Round 2.
Pueblo raised their rental rate 50%, AND gave away our September date to another club; so I kept the first one, but moved the second one to PPIR. We barely broke even at Pueblo last year (net of the two events) even at the old rental rate... so going twice at a higher rate doesn't make sense, especially with the lower turnout it always gets.
PPIR is more expensive, but we CAN run there if it rains (so no threat of a total loss for the weekend), and we have shelter in the garages. Plus we get to keep the garage rental income which will reduce the net rent cost to roughly the same as Pueblo. This will also get us two "traditional dates" with them, which will come in handy when they build the new road course. They're talking about it being open 2012.
