View Full Version : Dunlop Ninja 250 tires!!

Hey guys (and gals) Just got word in this morning that I can get the Dunlop DOT tires for the 250 spec class.

These are a 110/70/17 front and 130/70/17 rear.

Price at the track comes to $182.00 (plus tax)for the set...mounted!


I will need 3 days to get them shipped from the warehouse so I don't think I can get them in time for MRA race #8... :cry:

I can also provide slicks for the bikes but I think that is going the opposite direction of what the class was put together for.

Damn dude, this is what I was looking for, I think I gave you the wrong aspect ratio when we were talking, but yea these are the tires I ended up with and after 1 track day at IMI I really like 'em!

Come by to the Dunlop camp this weekend. I would like to hear some more feedback about the tires.

the GT501's also come in 16" sizes for us bastards that are too cheap to buy a new 250 to race... :oops: and these are evidently the hot ticket for the 16"s

Scer, when I get my 17" rims, we can talk about other, stickier, options depending on how the 501's work out. The class might be designed with cost in mind, but a little birdie told me that the other guys will be on sticky tires...you showing up friday?

Yes they are and I can get them in stock in the 16" form as well!

$93 for the front and 123 for the rear.

so, $216 (plus tax) mounted..

Yessir! I plan on being out there at 7:30 am with coffee in hand hopefully. We can talk about the stickier option too. You gonna be there Friday this time too?
