Morning all,
A good friend of the family emailed the other day asking about information on a R6 motor.
Ben and his crew at CSU are working on a Formula type race car for a FSAE engineering competition. The car now is powered by a 2008-09 R6 motor, but they need another one.
He asked that I reach out to all you fine folks to see if anyone had one available to donate or sell very cheap.
The donation would be tax deductible, and they have the proper paperwork for said deduction.
Ben told me if they had to they could take a damaged motor, but don't have a lot of scratch to throw around.
All they need is the long block, they have the rest of the parts.
I realize that such a late model engine would be tough to find for a donation, but I thought I'd put it out there.
