What tire pressure are you guys using at pueblo/Hpr?

Seemed to work good last Sunday at Pueblo...

Those would be cold temps.

Also, for Pueblo specific we were lowering the rear to about 22psi cold.

Why dont you guys set temps hot?

I only started experimenting at Pueblo with hot temps and have yet to dial them in. I was setting the front around 36 hot.

The best thing to do is set your tires cold, then check temp as soon as warmers are fully warm, and also immediately after you pull off the track. Log both temps as "Off warmer temp" and "Off track temp".

Then, once you know hot temps you can compensate for temperature changes in the atmosphere and stop relying on early morning cold temp settings which eventually change and increase as the ambient air increases during the day.

This is only my unofficial opinion so take it as that :)

Michelins have alwasy been checked cold, Perielis are checked hot. Right?

I'm running power race. 30frt and 26rear Hot. I tried 30cold in the frt. and it feels like theres a brick under the front.

So Michelins don't have an operating temperature that is ideal per bike per track surface?

Really?

(Yes. Always check Pirelli's hot. The difference between a 60 morning with a cold track and a 100 degree day with a hot track is huge.)

I always set mine cold. I check my pressures in the morning and at lunch to see how much the have gone up due to ambient temps.
