I just downloaded it onto my phone, but haven't had a chance to really play with it yet

That's pretty neat... Just gotta get it (Iphone) mounted on your guages or something... touchscreen display  feel like a fighter pilot...

I would give it a shot at IMI's lil asphalt track before totally going all out on the bigger tracks with it...

Keep us updated with this.. 8)

There is one for the Droid, its called trackmaster. I haven't tested it to see how well it works but I don't really know where I could mount the phone.

Only problem is, the touchscreen doesn't work w/ gloves on. :(

I dunno...based on the accuracy of the iPhone's GPS system I doubt it would be very accurate as a laptimer. Accuracy +/- 50' will make a huge difference in laptimes.

I used it for the chicane trackday and it provided awesome information about my apex speed etc. The only problem is first time you have to stand in the track and set a trigger point. Coz stupid google maps/earth doesn't have the photo of the HPR track. After that just before you leave the pits, set the system to go and it will trigger its self everytime you pass the trigger point..Just have to find a safe and stable way to mount it in my bike and I am still searching
