The first (and hopefully not last!) round of the MRA/SCCA Karting challenge was held yesterday at Speed Raceway in Centennial. While the MRA turnout was rather light, we represented well!
The winning club is determined by averaging the fastest three times for each club. I'm proud to say that the MRA was declared the winner of Round One by a scant .008 seconds. HOWEVER, the single best lap of the day was by an SCCA racer, so we definitely need to do something about that!
Fastest MRA time of the day (second fastest overall) was set by Mark Applegate. GOOD JOB MARK!!
The date for Round Two will be announced soon, so get ready to kick some more SCCA butt!
