Here is Dainese's description for the suit:
The Sukhoi suit is an extraordinary combination of innovative materials and advanced technology dedicated to safety developed by D-TECŪ, the Dainese Research & Development Department assigned to studying the most advanced solutions for the protection of the pilot. The TECHNO protections with titanium inserts in the knees increase ergonomics and the comfort of the wearer while also improving protection. The external thermoformed protection with titanium inserts on the shoulders increases shock absorption capacity significantly over the valid composite protection traditionally offered. The use of anti-grip titanium inserts on the elbows for the first time makes the Sukhoi suit one of the most advanced ever designed by D-TecŪ. Special attention has also been given to the choice of leather and constructive technique. The stitching has been reduced by half to increase safety: the 3 large sections of full grain cowhide used for the back and legs make a practically one-piece suit. This technical idea takes the Sukhoi suit one step further in terms of design and safety.
The thing that makes this suit extra special is the "Techno" impact protection in the shin/knees that Dainese no longer makes for their suits. The process took too long and was too costly, but you can feel the difference in comfort. The leather is also extra soft and supple compared to Dainese's other suits.
Full titanium/carbon fiber sliders at the shoulders, elbows and knees.
Front part of suit is fully perforated leather or "D-Skin / Stone" material which passes a lot of air.
Entire suit is made with something like 5 pieces of leather to reduce the seam bursts.
