If there was a corner marshal working turn 6, second open practice
on Sunday, 04/12. I would like to talk to him or her so maybe I figure
out what happened before I hit my head.
Thank you,

Hey John,

I believe that both of the people we had in turn six that day were from the Byers area and I am not sure if they will be on this forum. I arrived after the incident so I can't provide you with much information on how it happened.

Hope you heal up quick!

John- The markings on the track that you left when you crashed start very early in the turn. Based on that I would say you grabbed too much brake on the turn entry and lost the front end when you started tipping it in.

John,

This fits with the little bit that you remember from the crash, you spoke of a "false neutral", which would leave you heading into the corner faster than anticipated. It is a common reaction to go heavily to the front brake when such a thing happens.
