If worse comes to worse Craig Brown in Bldr 303-442-3946 can weld anything to anything else and is a former racer who now's pretty awesome on a snowboard...for his age.
Tell him your a friend of mine.It won't really make a difference as he'll charge you through the nose anyway as he does everyone but the job will last as long as the bike does.

General Air carries Ti sticks if your welder needs some.

If you do decide to weld titanium yourself make sure to use argon. It's tricky welding ti as I am a welder (to some degree) but with over 10 years of experience with mig welding I choose still not to try. Question:Are you migging or tigging. I would think that if you are a experienced at Tig that you stand a good chance. If you can only weld with a Mig welder don't go there just sub it out.

You can't mig titanium. Unless you had a spool of titaium wire in the mig machine. And I've honestly never heard of that being available.

If you need it welded and can get it to me I can do it. I have titanium filler rod for tig welding exhaust systems. I will be in boulder tommorrow if you want to meet me but you'll have to figure a way to pick it up as I won't be up in the denevrr area until maybe next week or at hpr on the weekend.

Thanks everyone. Think I have it taken care of for now.

I'll post up my success or failure story!
