Check out this e-mail I received from the Mavizen team this morning. They made it sound so personal. Almost like I'm of the demographic that can afford to drop $40k+ on an electric bike and go race it at Cadwell, Isle of Man and the rest of the spots around the world!

Frck, why can't I win the lottery!!!???

Oh, and how sick is that TecHotel deal? I've also heard that you can buy into a TecGarage service that not only stores and delivers your bike to the track, but will service and prep the bike (e.g. tires, brake pads, engine work, etc) prior to the races as well!!!

Again, I'm off to play the lottery!!!

The dawn of a new era in racing, hacking your competitors bike! Check out these FAQ's from their site:

Q: What does IP access mean?
A: The TTX02 ships with a built in web server that is integrated with the management system. You can log in remotely over the web or locally via your PC or phone for access to all motor parameters and configuration.

Q: Does the OS affect safety?
A: The TTX02 runs Linux and takes only five seconds to boot. All safety related systems are independent of the Operating System control. Brakes and throttle have their own systems with a monitoring link in the Operating System core.

Q: Will the Operating System be open?
A: Yes. The Operating System will be available for free download (BETA April 2010)
