I just looked at the forecast and it is showing 54 degrees and sunny currently. That is 6 days out so that could change, but anybody want to go? I have not preregistered yet but I will shortly who else is going?

Right now it is me and JPLracing.

If I were you I'd save your money for April. Even if its 65 out the track will be to cold. Save your tires :(

Having ridden a track while the air was in the 30 degree range, I can tell you that mid 50's is PLENTY to get your tires warmed up and have an enjoyable day. At that temp, the track can easily see 70+ degree temps or more depending on sunlight.

Plus, you might be the only guys out there. Now how cool is it to have a full track to yourself :)

You going Casey? I will be at the school too, I am just on a new and very different bike from anything I have ridden before, so I have a lot of work to do to try and even get close to my slow times last year.

I would if I could man. Still trying to get gear so I can actually ride plus I'm heading out to Texas this weekend to visit a friend.

I'll see you at the school though :)

Yeah Have fun with that. Sitting around at pmp and arryo seca waiting for some warmth sucks. Being cold and wondering if the tires will stay warm enough while you freeze your ass off ripping down the straights wondering wtf r u getting out of these sessions. Its a good time. Enjoy your pratice..

When do the trackdays at HPR start running. I went out there last weekend just to watch and no one was there. Plus, I dont want to lug my bike all the way out here from Kansas City next weekend if the 3/13 and 3/21 arent going to take place.

You can view the calendar here:

The days are dependant on registration though so its not a "FOR SURE" day until enough people sign up.

Still showing 54 degrees and clear on Sunday. Glenn chimmed in CSC and said that will have a car day on Saturday so the track should be nice and scrubbed in as well. I have signed up, anybody else yet?

Spoke to Glenn, he said that there is not enough people yet. This will be a good track day, the track will be clean from the cars on Saturday. The temp will be in the mid 50's, and if we get this going it seems there will only be about 10 people. So for $100 bucks we are going to have about 10 people on the race track in mid 50's weather. What could possibly be better than that, other then 20 more degrees on the temp?

so what is the count? I'm in the only way I won't be is If I have to go pick a trailer up Sunday if things work out...not planning on picking up the trailer too much at the moment. When do we have to have a confirmed number?

I saw you guys were looking for more riders, so I signed up for sunday. It will be my first time there, so I was wondering if one of you guys could show me the ropes and help me unload my bike?
