I purchased the yoyodyne quick turn throttle and the on/off switch from yoyodyne. Now I just need to know how to install the on/off switch as it does not come with directions. I am putting it on an 06 Gsxr 1000. Anyone done this or know how?

Thanks in advance.

You have to splice the wires into your stock harness.

It would be best if you had the factor service manual to splice the correct wires.

No it does not...when I was a teenager my sister and I raced BMX Her name is Leah, and my name is Louis...we made up L & L. Now that she is grown, moved away and married...my father and I are both Louis so we just kept the L & L and it's me and my dad.

Here's a diagram for 06/07 gsxr 600/750's, also 05/06 (maybe 07?) 1000. This is assuming you have unplugged and removed the right side grip controls and ignition switch from the main harness and the bike. The wire colors shown are the Suzuki plug wires. I have no idea what the wire colors are on your new switch, you have to figure that out. Should be 2 wires from each button, doesn't make any difference how each button is wired, as long as you follow the lines. This is very simple. The plug(s) on the new switch don't fit anything on the gsxr harness, you can use it if you want, or cut it off and hardwire it, or cut off the old plugs you took off and use them. There are more wires going into the harness plugs, of course, but you don't use them.
