can anyone recommend anyone in the springs?

I can't, but I can verify that the two names mentioned above are worth the drive.

I don't want to jack this thread, but I have a similar question.

My Dad gave me an old Bates leather jacket he rode with in the early 70's. It means the world to me, but it needs some TLC. Do any of the local leather folks do, for lack of a better term, "Restore" a vintage jacket?

I'd like to get the zippers replaced and the leather cleaned up and brought back to its former glory. Any info?

Just wanted to give another fantastic + 1 for Nate.

I picked up my suit from him today and it is like new! He doesn't just resew bits, he actually repairs and/or patches anywhere needed (leather, kevlar, plastic, etc).

And then to top it off, he cleans and conditions the suit! Best $100 I've spent in a while, plus I don't have to spend another $1,XXX on a new suit.

Highly recommended -

I hate to be boring, but I have to agree with those who recommend Nate. I had a bit of a crashing habit last season, and Nate did some amazing work on my leathers. Several times.

I've heard great things about Kris as well, but have no personal experience.
