First Honda now Kawi

I just read that Kawi is now pulling out of the AMA/DMG.....
Not that the series was worth much the last couple of years.
Its really sad to see US racing going to hell.

I hope now that DMG will see that a Nascrap mentality will not
work with all motorsports.
I wonder what will happen now:?:

DMG is not 100% to blame, the economy is playing a bigger role in the japanese pulling in the reigns. It is pretty hard to pay huge rider salaries plus the cost of crew and machines when sales are in the toilet..

There is an up side to Honda and Kawi dropping out; it means that more privateer riders have a chance to place higher in events. Which I think the factories should not be allowed to compete in any series...just support everyone with the same parts, engines, etc. Let the teams get win and not the factories.
