Thats because they have the same idiot running the Canadian Superbike Series thats runs AMA/DMG; Colin Fraser. Maybe he's afraid that the Yamaha will stop well enough to avoid a safety car sitting in the middle of the track over a blind hill......

The guy has no business to be involved in racing in any form. Anybody here rememebr his call on the curbing in turn one at PPIR during the combined Formula USA/MRA event in what 97 or 98? Needless to say he makes terrible judgement calls on safety issues for riders and stands behind them as if he were God.
