MRA GENERAL MEETING

 President - Glenn Conser
 Tonight is my last meeting as your president! I have enjoyed most of it. The club has come along way over the last 6 years. Hope you have a great couple years.
 Banquet
• Board is still working on things.
• Tony will have more info about it in the future
• Will schedule it sometime in January. Will try to work around the Super bowl

 HPR had a great season will still run lapping days every weekend.
• This weekend it will be Cars on Saturday Bikes on Sunday the days will rotate each weekend.
• When it comes to weather you will need to Call the hotline first to find out if the lapping day has been canceled
• HPR will be Closed Thanksgiving & Christmas weekend
• If there are less than 10 people to sign up online the lapping day will be canceled

 The Current board has discussed rule changes. The new board will also discuss rule changes. Will come to common ground before rules are posted.
 Scott Rybarik- would like to thank Glenn for all of his hard work & dedication to the MRA.

CONGRATULATIONS THAT IS YOUR 2010 BOARD
With Tony winning the President position the new Board will appoint a VP.
Don’t know if we will know in December or January!
 146 votes recived!! That has been the most votes in years!

 Vice-President—Tony Baker
 Banquet things are looking promising
• Have a couple of venues to choose from
• Cost in line with what our members want $30 to get in the door
• Order off the menu or eat before you come.
• The more people who participate the better things will run.
• ?Venues? Castleman holds about 800
• There to have a good time
• Other possible venue is on Arapahoe & I-25 further south but it is close to hotels
• Everyone goes to the banquet to have a good time

 Things looking good for contingency & expenses
 Tomorrow will have a clearer direction on what he is doing
Tony & Glenn have been on the Board together for a long time, things have changed in the 6 years they have been working together. It has been for the betterment of the club.
Reason Tony is running for president he didn’t want to see things fall apart. Glenn has worked so hard to get things in order.

 VP of Rules & Tech – Ray-Ray
Thanks to everyone for allowing Ray to harass everyone on race weekends and for showing up to tech with smiling faces. He is taking a year off from being on the Board is going to focus on racing. Will see how things are at the end of the year.

 Treasurer—Lisa

• paid truck insurance
• On Friday $4800 is due to HPR deposit
• PPIR deposit $5500 Glenn spoke to PPIR manager he said we can put down ½ deposit now & other half Feb 1st
• Membership opening Jan 1
• We will not be sending out rider packets this year
• Post card in the mail as a reminder
• Go online download the form & send it in.
• The earlier you register the more you save

 Rider Reps:
• Donna Bowden – Thanks to all for your help with PR have good plans for the 2010 Novices great opportunities to work off your hours.
• Wyeth got us a great opportunity over Thanksgiving Day weekend. We will have Literature about the MRA there to hand out. We need all of us working together.
• Jim Brewer – MIA
• Mike Applehans-Possible Novice hours if you come to the General meetings you get 1 hour.
• Plus we have the Adopt-a-corner worker. This gets your hours taken care of right away.
• Jeff Brown- A lot of people don’t realize what it takes to be the President.
• Glenn Has been our rep for CAMA
• We have our new track cause of Glenn. He did most of the work to make the new track possible.
The room is full tonight usually at the General meeting there are about 25 people who show up all the time. If we had half of the amount show up at all the other general meetings people would know more about what is going on in the club.
• We should have more people at the meeting & being involved with the club.
• ??PR forum as well as the discussion forum?? Tony- There has been a PR forum since 08 before it was only available to people who were on the PR committee. We are also working on a PR calendar. Still in contact with Dave will see what he can do to get it done.
• Before we would assign rider reps to different positions. Now our members get to decide who does what position.
• Servers Leslie & Niki settle up with them & tip them well !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
