MRA GENERAL MEETING

HPR is coming along nicely, Buildings might be the by the first race not sure yet. School coming on April 11th and 12th
April 6th open lapping days
• If you do not have a licenses.
• Any documents will do for Proof
• 150 full day 90 half day
• Friday before a MRA weekend there will be practice at HPR
• Race 2 HPR May 8th 2009 will be an open lapping day for motorcycles
• The Friday before a car event is for cars only
• The Friday before a Motorcycle event will be for motorcycles only .
• The first two Race weekends at HPR will be a MRA lapping day the Friday before
• All others will be open to the public.
• Club needs more riders so tell anyone you know.
• With the tracks they are now requiring a flat fee it is X amount a day. We have to pay out no matter how many riders we have.
• If we can get a better turn out we will have the extra money.
• Track deposit are about 18 19 Grand
• No One will learn the new track this year.
• Some racers will show up last minute to the track but we need a lot of pre entries!
As far as PPIR- we are searching High and Low for something that will work as curbing. Hopefully we will have the rest of the conveyor belt so that it can be a lot safer.
Tighten up the radius of turn 1.
It makes it easier for the Air fence crew to put the Air Fence out.
Slow down the entrance.
HPR- If we can’t live without curbing at the exit of the track then we will have to get it!!
The curbs were being put down as of Monday.

• You will end up in the dirt if you try to take the corners to fast.
• The Track will be great for riders to learn on.
• We need the money so send your stuff in late. HAHA
• Clarke shirts for sale still.
• Tony is paying for it out of his pocket.

• MRA Apparel will be on sale. Those will be Available throughout the season.
HPR-Every member owns a part of the Track.
• Insurance doubled so Please understand that NO ONE is getting rich we are doing it for everyone.
• We are not taking anything out of this.
• If we didn’t do a lot of the things we do the club wouldn’t be around.
Insurance cost this yaer-39000.00 last year was 26000.00
Contingency has come in but it is not official as of yet.
Keep an eye on the website it is posted.
Poor School enrollment it is still early we were hoping better.
20 riders for the 1st school 10 for the second. If the school breaks even that is ok.
It will be divided into sessions

• Taxes are done and have been sent out. All 1099’s have been issued
• 23500.00 in the bank has been spoken for.

• Sat March 28 anyone who wants to come and corner work it will count as novice hours
Tech-Ray Ray-
• For the guys that are new we require you to have your number on the chin on both sides.
• Your helmet must not be older than 5 years.
• Case covers are required at the new track.
New Rider Director—Mark Schellinger –
Turn 1 at PPIR looks good. Moved closer to start finish so it should be safer
Track Marshal— Timmay!
Need Corner workers.

• Trophy sponsors are needed.
• If you’re a class sponsor you will receive 2 Pit Crew Passes to all the races. You will also get 2 tickets to the Banquet
• Wyeth is going to sponsor a class.
Wyeth- We need all the lady riders we can get
• Ngto, Agto, 3 endurance, Lwgp, Mvgtu are nopt sponsored as of yet!
NGTO & AGTO are 2 classes that could really use it.

• Rule Books are Ready. WOW
• 2 or 3 weeks ago a few went out
• Mark Nude Chris fuller did the drawling for the rule books

• Helping with Contingency VP will be out again this year.
• Corner workers seriously needed. Anyone that wants to know. Sunoco is not back.
