We shut down the sale of the transponders during the winter to avoid potential issues arising when the off-season maintenance the transponders require isn't completed. Strictly selling and delivering them during the race season at our events ensures the new owner receives a fully charged and ready to use transponder. It is also advantageous to prove immediately to the new owner the transponder they have just bought works, and conversely allows us to rectify any problems before the weekend is over.

Wouldn't it be cool to have the former owner of a race bike follow you around for two full days after you bought the bike willing to any problems? That's the philosophy with the transponder sales and that's what we've been able to accomplish around 150 times.

It will be posted when the sales resume in the spring of 2010.
