Is this cover legal for racing?

For a Suzuki, you only need the LHS stator cover and the RHS idler gear cover. The part you posted is a protector for the clutch cover. Extra protection never hurts.

I have a 07 750 and the idle gear cover is on the same side as the stator cover (LHS as your sitting on it). The cover mentioned above is all I could find as well for the RHS. I think that is point of the question if I am not mistaken.

the left side stator cover already the inner idler gear cover integrated with it on yours so no unless you get the seperate cover that woodcraft sells. http://www.woodcraft-cfm.com/Scripts/prodList.asp?idCategory=12860
previous generation gsxr's had the idler gear on the RHS and it was usually the first thing to touch when hitting the pavement so the cover was required but a clutch cover was not required...or available.

sorry if my first post was misleading since i did not pay enough attention to what year bike you had. and no you were not mistaken, Rockstar.
