Captured some Hi-def video this weekend. Novice Sunday practice and STGTU action. Still playing with audio, and will eventually get it edited with better software, but you can pull it's raw format from:

STGTU Race(Hi-Def no audio):

Novice Practice 2 (Hi-Def with audio):

Takes a few min to load.

Nice video. I was looking at the HD cams - I was thinking one forward, one rear. How do you have it mounted?

I rigged up a triple clamp mount for the forward view. I wanted the lens behind the windshield to protect the camera lens from debris off the track.

I'm posting some rear mounted camera vids where it was under the seat facing backwards.

I'll post a link for those shortly....

For those interested its a ContourHD camera that can shoot SD and HD video quality.

What I see local is even better the compression when hosted.

A one lap portion of this needs to be on the MRA homepage. It is things like this that will help make people want to come out.

BTW, great job on the video.

I agree, and I'm willing to donate my camera setup for a for the last race of the season. Anyone have suggestions for the best race to record? Obvioulsy we'd want someting close and competitive, mixing it up a bit....

$269 at Amazon, free shipping. When I got it last month, they had a free $50 Amazon card with it, so net was about $220.
