The MRA Recession Special
The MRA is accepting all other motorcycle roadracing clubs' licenses for racing with the MRA for the remainder of the season! No need to buy a weekend MRA License. Come race at the the brand new High Plains Raceway (http://highplainsraceway.com)! Just bring your current race license, AMA membership card and your bike! July 25-26, August 8-9, and August 29-30. Riders chasing prize money in the Premier Race of the Rockies classes will be required to purchase a license as the purse money for that class comes from the members.

Work off Novice Hours. Need volunteers to man the MRA booth, talk with people, hand out flyers and cards, display bikes, etc. We will have a canopy and MRA backdrop.

An email blast is going out Monday and it will include the MRA flyer plus we will be distributing the 2 for 1 coupons at the parts counter.

Alright so Paul has given me the go ahead to go to Fay Myers and setup all my stuff next saturday the 18th. Doin this pulls me out of going to Apex for their open house. We have 2 other racers going to Apex that day so I dont see a problem with that.

I am already signed up to work the gala on August 1st in the afternoon with gate stuff. I could work the morning at an MRA booth, but I won't know for sure what the exact hours I have are until later this week when Pauline let's me know. Fred will be there depending on work.

I can't commit to the August 1st Gala, but if I show up can I be put to work? I just don't know with my work schedule if I'll have that day off.

I can't answer that for the Gala event itself, you could check with Pauline (see Glenn's thread for her contact info), but I'll bet the MRA booth will take anyone and everyone they can get - right Donna?

I definitely want an MRA booth there, and maybe that big truck? Well have our race bikes from Vickery ready!

Fay Myers Meet and Greet, Saturday, July 18

Everything was OK'd Smile The flyer will be going out Monday in our email blast with 2 for 1 coupons at the parts counter. The meet and greet is happening...

Hours are looking like 11am-4pm

I will be there and Kia Aftahi.... #513 he needs to do his novice hours...
