Hi guys (& gals),

Since this is my first post, nobody knows me, and I will try to introduce myself.
While I am not a racing class rider, I do love to ride. I have been to 43 states so far. I got a late start with motorcycles. and had a mid life crisis at 40, when I bought my first bike. But I have found the fountain of youth and continue to amaze the doctors, because I have not aged a day since. He he

I wanted to share some photos that I took at High Plains Raceway.
Sunday was my first time there and I really had a good time.
I know that I did not get pics of everybody, but I tried to include as many different riders as I could.

There are 136 pics online at:

Enjoy!

My sincere thanks to everyone who took time to look at the photos I posted of the riders at High Plains. I look forward to shooting more photos of the race bikes. I would also like any feedback that you as viewers of my photos can provide. (OK to flame - my first reaction is that I need some different angles on the corners, so they are not just "butt shots" he he)

In my last post, I began my introduction, but didn't really give much info about how much I love to ride.

I have successfully passed the ERC (Experienced Rider Course) 4 different times.
I rode a USA 4 corners tour in 2005 that included 13,000 miles in 25 days while traveling to the 4 corners of the lower 48 states.

I have completed 5 iron butt type rides (1000 miles or more in 24 hours or less) with the most difficult one being 1500 miles in 24 hours. My certification of completion is shown at the following link. (wish is weren't pink, but I am still proud of it all the same)

I also own a website dedicated to my love of riding.
But I promise - you will be bored before seeing all of it.

As I said earlier, I got a late start and began riding when I turned 40. What I didn't mention is that I have been riding for 12 of the last 18 years that I have been sober. I did not have the self control to know when to stop drinking, but I still had the wisdom to know what might kill or maim me.

Riding is great! I am going to ride to Denver today and watch my friend George's son Brett, compete and keep his title from winning the Civilian Top Gun Motorcycle Competition. Maybe I will see some of you down there later.
