I'm new to CO race scene and had a few questions:

1 I was wondering how to go abouts registering for a number through the MRA and geting my paperwork in before the season starts up here soon, as well with my transponder ID.
2 For locations in Denver or CO springs where are the best places to purchase U4 or Sunco race fuel?
3. Also I was wondering if PMI will allow camping(in trailer) in between evening of the races.... as well as HPR and PPIR?

I appreciate the help and look forward to the new season... I got a chance to go out and puts around on HPR when a buddy of mine was doing some of the ground work, superb track! I wasn't sure if anyone has had a chance to run scenarios on a required gear ratio for the 600's, I was just trying to find some basic gearing numbers to work with for an 07r6.

Last question anyone in this state have a rashed up AKro Evo can I can use for a spare as well 8) Hard to find any sort of racers corner store out here or even online with local race parts new and used.... I have gone through WERA for most of it.

Thanks again fellas,

Nik

http://users.frii.com/jjb/emote/welcome.gif Where are you coming from?

1 I was wondering how to go abouts registering for a number through the MRA and geting my paperwork in before the season starts up here soon, as well with my transponder ID.
The forms are at the "Forms & Downloads (http://www.mra-racing.org/index.cfm?action=forms_downloads)" index on the mra-racing.org main page.

I think Faster (http://www.fastermotosports.com/) still sells VP.

3. Also I was wondering if PMI will allow camping(in trailer) in between evening of the races.... as well as HPR and PPIR?
Briefly
PMI - caming ok, no charge, no hookups, bathrooms & 1 shower
PPIR - camping ok, maybe a charge, hookups, bathrooms & showers
HPR - camping ok, likely no charge, no hookups, port-a-potties, no shower
MPH - camping ok, charge for hookups, so there are hookups, nice bathrooms & showers

Last question anyone in this state have a rashed up AKro Evo can I can use for a spare as well
Post it on the "Wanted" forum!

I really appreciate the quick responses....

I also heard there was a fellow down near Nevada and Tejon in the springs that sell Sunco... mainly for the drags... he runs a speed shop there... might go check it out today. Also does Faster sell by the 55 gal drum? I read a few threads on here in the past with some problems with the U4 and filtered gunk on a certain race day... think it was at PPIR... jw

As for the forms I'll fill those out asap, I spent time about 5 years ago and ran the PMI a few times, whatever the track down by Lamar was, and the second creek track.... just starting to get back into it and want to start out with a couple full seasons.

Also did a little search but are they closiing down the MMI track???... jw for supermoto

I was able to get in a few track days down at PMI this year before it closed after the season as well.... spoke to a couple fellas down there and they mentioned it might be getting repaved.... true or just rumor? While I was there I had to get the track crew to clean up a ton of oil in turn ten that was just setting there... and he was the fellow who mentioned the repaving......

Another set of Questions....

Track day cost at PPIR? as well as HPR?
Anyone have a recommendation for top notch tuning near the spring or in Denver?

From now on I'll search the rest of my questions and quit bugging you all

Once again I really appreciate it

Are you talking IMI up north of denver? That track is still open for road bikes just very tight and short.

As for tuning, again check out Faster Motosports. They are located in Denver just off I-25

Faster also sells Sunoco. I ran it all last year and had great luck. Definitely comparable to VP, but much cheeper.

Frank Diranna fixes smashed race cans, or used to. He's in Parker.
