Hi,

I am in the process of upgrading the cam in my engine 2006 CBR600RR, I have managed to get an intake cam (HRC Race Cam), has anyone tried this before. Also is anyone aware of any precautions or do we follow the service manual.

Also managed to get a full WP suspension kit, Fork Cartridges / Rear Shock and Damper, any comments / tips?

Thanks
Poncho

I'm not certain, but I think that if you are using the HRC cams, then you have to upgrade the valve springs. I believe that the lift is high enough that it will actually stress the springs and they can break. Again, just what I have heard through the grapevine! Good luck.

Thanks,

This is the plan, I got myself an intake cam, ordered a 0.60 head gasket (my bike is already running this gasket) , spl valve springs from the HRC engine upgrade kit and a HRC kit air filter.

Also dropped in a Quick Throttle.

I hope this is a good package, and it works well... I have noticed that a few Australian teams run this combo... will this work only the intake cam?

Hope this does the trick.

Thanks
