One with a blown engine would work best - I have a spare engine and need (yes, I really need) a track bike. Ugly/non-streetworthy is OK - bent/missing brakes/suspension are not OK.

I'm not a member - yet - this should change that. I'd like to learn the sport before I hit the track with something more serious.

Hey Bob,

Good to hear you're still thinking about hitting the track. Why the pre-94? Once you pass that magical year, the EX's haven't changed to the current model year in anything more than color choices.

Give me a buzz, or shoot me an email, as I may be able to help out with parts. 303.903.5420

Chris,

I lost your email address - will call you later today......

I figured the early model would be easier to find for less - and my spare engine has the early electrical connections. I'm using all my late model parts on my project bike, which might turn a wheel late next year if I'm lucky. I don't want to wait that long......

Marty,

Thanks for that - I was wondering how much that would cost from Chicago. Turns out it is pretty much the same as the fuel expense would be with my van. So all that stuff'll end up in the back of the van on the 27th.

Should have done this 20+ years ago - better late than never.....
