One additional note: Marty, Jeff, Chris Dale and I are going to petition for a class that we alone can run. Our main focus will be having a great time playing pass your buddy, with a cash prize of well over a dollar at the end of the season. Protests will be mandatory to keep your points, and extra will be added for getting something past V-P Tech (sorry Ray-Ray, we must do what we must  )

Have we hit page nine yet???

I've recently purchased a bike that is legal for this class, whatever it may be called, and therefore am petitioning to be allowed to race in it. I realize that during this olympic. AHEM, I mean MRA race weekend that it is merely a demonstration class, so I will refrain from entering, but the next two rounds....well, count on seeing me there!

Fred, Chris, Marty, Jeff - I plead to your better angels, may I please compete for the prize that exceeds $1?

Please call me with your input if you feel uncomfortable posting up here. I want to hear what you feel so I can better do my job. 720-253-4727
I feel uncomfortable posting here, can you come over and help me feel more comfortable?
What!? You, me and your wife?
How 'bout if I bring Otis and some Wesson Oil?
Or will Crash protest us for illegal oil?

Actually, how do you all think about reducing the number of classes/races from twenty something to about six or seven, with much longer races (from eight laps to, say 15) and ROR going 20??? Endurance? Let's hit the hour. I have another idea, which I am in the process of fleshing out for super sport vs suberbike, but it's taking longer than I thought to get clear in my mind.

Marty, Jeff, Chris, let's play this weekend. First one across the line wins and autographed picture of Fee Waybill and a genuine cassette recording ot the "Completion Backward Principle," recorded direct from LP to Technic cassette deck in 1984.

Have we hit page nine yet???

don't forget about the turnips. i think this weekend we will have two more back on the grid, kevin and a newby nicci who will also be in LOR. nicci is the one we gotta watch out for, i think she has been sand baggin' in her practices so far.

damn what a thread jack, we went from suzuki cheatin at super bike, to double bubbles, to rule change, to blanket protesting of an entire grid, to trash talking in the slowest class in the club. COME ON 10 PAGES!

Marty: I'm going to try and get some tires for the ktm, the motard rims are in limbo (darn it).
However, I also plan on protesting anyone finishing behind me. I know they'll be looking at the "Spongebutt" and I don't want anyone thinking those bad thoughts as I steer "Mighty Thundar" around ten!

Let's get Coloradorized!

Yes, Scotty you are more than welcome. The more we have out there goofing off having fun, the better it will be. Heck, I may even up the prize to cover the cost of freedom (from "Team America, World Police" soundtrack, "Freedom isn't Free.").... $1.05!

Come on page ten!

My predictions for this upcoming race weekend.......it won't be a race weekend at all, it will be a protest fest! Everyone is going to protest everyone. Actually, I am going to protest every other Supersport rider out there because I have been doing research and I have found something I am certain is on almost every Supersport bike on the grid. I have fixed it on my bike and I'm not telling anyone what it is. I think it will prove the point that everyone has something "NOT SUPERSPORT LEGAL" on their bikes. Oh, this should be fun!!!!! I am bubbling with excitement.

Can I call in SICK this weekend??? :-(0)

(Actually, Ray-Ray may want to call in sick if the protests are all tech violations!)

This thread started out with sooo much anger!!! I understand that a small number of you make a small amount of money racing but I can't believe this crap! I will not name names like some have but some of you need to f-ing GROW UP!!! This isn't middle school!!!

Now that I've said my peace.... I'll return this tread to its regularly scheduled and much funnier direction!

Hell YA!!! That looks like a kick in the pants! Do they make one with knobbies? I could get to the people that fall down way faster!

Go ahead and protest me. I need the money, and was gonna tear down the motor anyway so I can just make Ray-Ray do it for me.

I can see it now....the R6 gets returned by Ralph in a box
"here you go Scott! Ray Ray did the tear down, so it will be easier to rebuild the motor now"

I can only hope I get the protest money too....

Now, back to the fun guys colorado class. I think I'm going to protest Marty for taking lessons with Mr. Clark. That is certainly cheating. Jeff, will be protested for being nice, and finally Fred will be protested for wearing silly shorts.

Then I'm going to make sure to switch everyone's transponders around, which should be a lot of fun for Chris when he has to sort out timing and scoring. Muwahhahhahhhahha

That would fall under this rule
5.2 Motorcycle Technical Requirements
N. No streamlining may be attached to the rider.

Marty,

Like I said, if it wasn't cheating then you wouldn't need to keep it a secret! Consider my protest officially filed!

I must protest the protest to my "streaming." It's actually out of modesty that I wear them, to avoid "streaming." Both for absorbancy and decorum! Now, if I could just get the damned rims in for the ktm, Colorado Class would be rockin'.

I don't think anyone could, or even would, accuse you of ever being streamlined, Fred. ...And as for switching transponders, just make sure that mine ends up on Marty's bike. It may be the only way I ever get a first place trophy. Looks like the the "Colorado Class Coffee Klatch" has hijacked the thread!

I filed a protest this weekend. I'm certain that I saw Ray Ray slip Bob a $20 at the starting line to give me the spicy meatball. It was rejected because aparantly there were marinara stains on the protest form I filed and that is unacceptable.

I tried to keep "protest fest" alive, but no one else wanted to play.

As for colorado class, now that I know how to bribe the starter, once I get the TZ running I'll be bringing money to the line for Bob to meatball Mr. Hester.

It was actually a $50. I wanted that win BAD! And Sorry! You can't protest me! I'm the Effin VP of Rules and Tech. Did you forget?

On a side note! That was the most incredible race of my life! From starting almost dead LAST because I was caught with my pants down when the light went off to weaving my way through traffic to get up front and putting my head down knowing you were going to be chasing me down after your stop and go. WOW! That was a blast! Thanks Scott that was a fun time!

Hey Ray,

I just gotta say, you rode like a mad man out there. I was doing some math in my head when while I served the penalty and figured if I rode really well and you rode at about your usual pace I would catch you at the end of the race. You must have rode the wheels off that bike, because I had a really good race, hit most of my marks and didn't make many mistakes in my chase and you stayed in front of me. WAY TO GO!

Like I said to you on the starting line....It's Racing, anything can happen! I really love that the outcome isn't a known quantity. Riding with you is always great fun and I look forward to the closing rounds of the season! Battling with you has made this sesaon exceptionally fun.

Scott

WTF....this thread is off the rails. Now were thanking people for great races and sportsmanship on the track and talking about having fun.

Crash can you get in here and liven things up.

I ran some double bubble this weekend, but now I need to see my dentist. It's been about 30 years since I've chewed that gum.

Does anyone remeber when doritos first came out? Does anyone remeber way back when you'd buy a little snack bag of doritos from 7/11 and it'd cost like .50 and there'd be 6 chips in a little bag. Now these days your not "satisfied" unless you've gobbled down half a full size bag of them, and a half gallon of coke.

I must protest!

the correct spelling of 'effin is:

'effin

Ben, you can spell it any way you like - but that won't make you appear any less educated or better coiffed.

You probably say "anyways" too, don't you?

Now, when using the word "effer" then you definitely spell it with an "e" and there is no apostrophe.

Get it 'effin right would you, you effer!

Eff!

Section 69.1 clearly states that when addressing members of the MRA to call them "the effen membership"

Section 69.2 the vice president will always come across as though he is drunk and or delusional and you should never under any circumstances listen to what he says.

Hell if all of you get to protest. I want to protest as well. Therefore I protest everyone wafting up dust onto my fisheye lens with no disregard what so ever. A list of all who I am protesting can be found in the 'Racers Log' on pages 77 & 78 of the MRA magazine... oh wait... that puts me out of business... ummm I want to protest my protest in the fact that it was an absurd claim.
