I need the right handlebar only for a 2003 SV 650. It got bent in a crash and all I need to replace is the bar (read: tube of aluminum). I can't seem to find just the bars anywhere. I looked online for options but most are $140 for a pair with the mount itself. All I need is one handlebar. I was thinking maybe $20?

Anyone?

Thanks.
Tom

www.Woodcraft-cfm.com, they'll have what you need.

Tom, these were aftermarket bars right? Where you can just slip the tube out of the mount? If I recall correctly thats what they were. If so, check locally with Faster Motosports. They will have them in stock for probably around your asking price.

Don't be confused as they are able to sell just the replacement bars as well, I would however in anticipation of your next tip over buy at least two!

Sure enough. They have 'em. $14.95. Thanks, Casey!

Paying $15 for $5 in metal rod seems like a waste to me. I buy aluminum rod stock in lengths and just cut it down.

This is aircraft strength NO -seam aluminum. I bought 2 X 4' lengths of tube, and cut them down to 9". in the end you have tubes for under $5- a piece. I ordered 2 x 4 foot lengths instead of one 8 foot length so it can come via regular UPS and save $.
