Hey Everyone,

Despite the usual moaning I heard about how everyone thought they were going so slowly over the weekend, 11 class records fell! Here they are...

Amateur GTO #121 Doug Kahl 1: 34.082. This shaves a couple of tenths of Doc Mike's old record.
Amateur GTU #213 Jason Madama 1:35.082. Of course this was very graceful!
Colorado Class #738 Marty Hestor 1:50.202. Smashing our Effin' VP's record by more than 7 seconds!
Heavyweight SuperBike #616 Brad Hendry 1:31.522. An improvement on the record he set two months ago.
Heavyweight SuperSport #10 Dave Lambert 1:33.681. Another 3 tenths quicker than Mike Applegate.
Ladies of the Rockies #612 Donna Bowden 1:41.295. Just like wine, improving with... another 3.5 seconds!
Middleweight SuperBike #616 Brad Hendry 1:31.405. I think this was the lap he did on one wheel.
Modern Vintage GTU #33 Dave "Hoopty" VanDerWeert 1:38.679. Getting faster by 0.731 secs.
Race of the Rockies GTU #616 Brad Hendry 1:31.150 Another improvement. Maybe there's something to this 3 cylinder thing?
SuperTwins GTO #77 Patrick Lansu 1:32.425. Steals the record away from Jon Glaefke by 1.7 seconds.
Middleweight Endurance #36 Charles Greenwood 1:34.521. This effort sadly removes removes Danny Anderson from our of class record list as both of his records were broken this weekend.

Just a note about Bart McKiernan's ride from the back of the Modern Vintage GTO grid (second wave) to finish in front of everyone in SuperTwins GTU. Although is was awesome to watch, Terry Teske still holds the class record at 1:37.973.

Trivia Question: Many can guess that Brad Hendry holds the most amount of class records at Pueblo Motorsports Park currently in the MRA. But there is a 4 way tie for second place. Who are they?

Not bad my lovely lady! There's two with Clarkie and Turpin. Sorry Crash, your just going to have to "Step it up" like Shannon. (There would be a bit of a hint, but Shannon doesn't currently hold any class records at Pueblo.)

...what you have for hoopty... Tony is the class recorder holder for MVu

I think Hoopty is still under 200 lbs, but if Ashley's feeding him well it won't last for long. :D

Here are the updates from the last two races since some the same class records were broken in both race weekends.

Pueblo September 6-7
Amateur GTU #317 Gerry Signorelli 1:34.613. This unseats Jason Madam from the class record.
Colorado Class #738 Marty Hester 1:47.624. An improvement over his own record by nearly 7 tenths of a second.
Modern Vintage GTU #21 Tony Baker 1:37.364. Improving August's effort by more than 1/2 a second.
Novice GTO #469 Ara Maranian 1:34.489. Making an appearance to the current class record holders list.
Novice GTU #317 Gerry Signorelli 1:35.429. Snatching a long standing record from Russ Ullerich (before dates were recorded).
Lightweight Endurance #945 Shannon Moham 1:38.268. When looking at Jason Smith's record he stated, "I can go faster than that!". He did by 2.566 seconds.
Middleweight Endurance #913 Tony Ross 1:32.534. Tony was so excited about the record he promptly fell off in the same race if memory serves me correctly.

Pueblo September 20-21
Amateur GTU #213 Jason Madama 1:33.914. He takes back the record from Gerry Signorelli set only at the last race.
Colorado Class #738 Marty Hester 1:46.631. Always improving throughout the season. This time by almost a full second over the last round at Pueblo!
Heavyweight Super Sport #25 Mike Applehans 1:33.252. Stealing all the fame and glory from Dave Lambert by 0.376 seconds.
Ladies of the Rockies #612 Donna Bowden 1:39.319. This effort reclaims the record from Edda Tully by 0.072 seconds.
Middleweight Super Sport #12 Ricky Orlando 1:32.319. Ricky removes Shane Turpin's name from another class record. There's only one left excluding the absolute track record.
Novice GTU #317 Gerry Signorelli 1:34.053. Gerry lowers his own mark by more than 1.3 seconds.

Lap times for individual riders should be posted soon for the last round at Pueblo. That's all for now as you've all been brought up to speed!
