Rotor treatment with pad change

I am switching out the stock pads for some C44 Carbone Lorraine racing pads. Does anything need to be done to the rotors to remove the old pad material? Is there any cleaning tricks that improve new pad bed in? Thanks for any help.

Call the guys at faster. They helped me out with the tips and tools to hone the rotors.
