This is what myself, ST, and Faster have. They're pretty nice, and not too expensive. 8)

Yea, I got the one with air assist. It's a pretty durable little thing.

I contacted five of the eight retail stores in Colorado only to find out they either didn't have them in stock or they had a number on back order. So I called the national customer service to find out they are available and promptly ordered one online. Thanks for the input.

BTW, I asked my Snap On dealer how much his ran... "About $4,000.00, but they're AWESOME lifts."

Snap On Tools: I love them, and have done my best to assist my dealer in getting a built in pool and sending his kids to M.I.T. by buying as many of them as I can. I love sleeping in the garage......

As luck would have it HF is out of both styles in Colorado. And of course they have no idea when they will get restocked.

So...I was kind of hoping someone had a used one that they wanted to sell

the harbor frieght tools in colorado springs has a motorcycle lift there.

I just walked by it two days ago, and thought to myself, hmmmph....look what those chinese are doing with all our scrap metal.

unless it sold, which I doughbt in this town, it should still be there.

True Sexy Ben! But with the money I saved instead of buying Snap On I still have enough left over to buy your welder. :-k There's gotta be room in my garage to weld, eh? Of course if the garage were still standing there would be the second time around.

I have the HF lift as well... The HF here in SLC seems to always have both models on sale every other week. It's durable, inexpensive, etc...

Hey im not saying it's a bad thing to save a buck one those at all. :D but you know that already.

I know that the way china is buying our scrap metal and selling it back to us is not the greatest thing for us. Personally I'd like to see all our scrap metal stay here and be recycled here, and used to make new things here. It'd create jobs and just help our wallering dollar.

But the said fact is, the chinese can get loyal workers to work for $7 bucks a week. Here in the u.s. $7 an hour(min wage) in this country is not even enough to buy food and gas for a week let alone live off of.

Enough diatribe from me though, I buy crap from harbor freight, I mean where else can you get a welder a full set of hand tools, a utility trailer, a laser torpedo level, a powder coating paint gun w/oven and digital dial calipers all for $19.99? So Im just as guilty of sending this country into the downward spiral of a great financial abyss and should be the last person to rant about how things should be done.

I hear you loud and clear. Technology is cheap now, and labor is the expense. But as long as we all suffer from "Walmart Syndrome" where we fight politically to stop them coming into our own neighborhood - but then flock to buy their cheap products, there will always be an imbalance against us.

I still want your welding setup. :D Maybe I should wear out my little Lincoln (not the one that rides an SV) before stepping up.

I got a hydraulic bike lift from Pep Boys. It's red - has a removable ramp - front wheel vise and tie down set up. It is heavy as heck but works well. I always try to get non-air required tools so my neighbors don't have to hear the compressor run at night. I think I got it for like $250.00 1/2 year ago.
