Round 3 Sunday April 13th @ I-25 and Arapahoe
Just like the first, the second MotoGP event at Brothers BBQ was a huge success!!! Over 100 motorcycle enthusiasts were in attendance to watch an amazing race...Big thanks to all our sponsors and everyone who showed up!!!
During the second MotoGP race in Jerez, Casey Stoner went off the track (twice), which literally paved the way for 22-year old Dani Pedrosa's victory. Unlike the always humble Nicky Hayden, Stoner had no problem putting blame on the bike and other riders for his mishaps.
On a side note, another spectacular showing by Valentino Rossi's teammate Jorge Lorenzo. The rookie managed to take 3rd place, which puts him second in the overall standings. And speaking of Rossi, is he back? A great ride allowed him to capture 2nd place at Jerez, which puts him 3rd place in the overall standings...
The Grande Premio De Portugal should prove to be another incredible race. Situated on the Atlantic coast of Portugal, the Estoril circuit was used as a MotoGP venue for the first time in 2000. One of the trickiest tracks on the calendar, Estoril combines long, constant radius corners with heavy braking zones, bumpy straights and a difficult chicane...
Regarding the event, we will have plenty of things going on in addition to the race broadcast (see schedule below). We are holding a show-bike competition (all bikes welcome), have some pocket bike racing and as usual, there will be TONS of give-aways and raffle prizes...
Schedule:
11:30 - 1:00 - Voting for show bike competition
12:00 - 1:00 - MotoGP 250 race broadcast
1:00 - 2:00 - MotoGP main event broadcast
2:00 - 2:30 - Raffle and prize give-aways (including show-bike award)
2:30 - 3:30 - Pocket bike races
