I have an '05 GSXR 600. The bike was running at idle last week and died when we gave it throttle. It hasn't started since. I've replaced the old gas, charged the battery, and checked the plugs. It cranks just fine but won't fire up. The red light on the gauge is flashing and in the temp spot it says "FI". Is my fuel pump dead already? Would a failed water pump cause the bike to not start? Any ideas?

Find the procedure to check which fault code you have and get back to the board. Glenn #62

FI is the the fuel injection code I believe. Did you pull the tank to get rid of the old gas? If so I would check under the tank for a loose plug on the injection rail. Also when you first turn on the key does the fuel pump fire up?

you just had that bike completely apart. are you sure you connected everything correctly when you put it back together?

I got the dealer switch from work and it's showing me C23. I think that's the tip over sensor. Any idea on the fix?

I messed around with all the connectors and what not under the seat and was able to get it to start for a minute. Then is died and gave me the same error. I do believe its the TOS. I'm not sure what it looks like or what I have to do. Is that something you normally take off of a race bike?

Timmy, Did you put that tip over switch back in upside down or something?

Turned out to be the TOS. Thanks for the assistance.
